Why these two great comedians and Terry Thomas agreed to be in a movie directed by untalented Andy Warhol protege Paul Morrissey is confounding. Maybe because they got to write the script?
The comedy is sort of Monty Python-ish, just no where near as funny as anything they did.
And Dudley Moore uses some sort of weird accent that's annoying.
The movie is presented like a TV movie, so I wonder if it ever went to the theatres. It's got the look and feel of a TV bit elongated into under 90 minutes.
Actually, that's the thing. The entire movie is like a Monty Python skit, so it's not funny on the movie screen and it doesnt translate well to the TV.
