I don't think I could watch two or more of the Matt Helm films back to back, just as I couldn't watch more than two of the Bond films back to back either. In fact, a few of this genre as a marathon as the spy films of the 60's are a mixed bag, some dating immediately, and many just plain awful. But every so often, a visit with Dino and the character of Matt Helm takes me into a silly world that's fun for two hours and provides plenty of smirky amusement.

The women in this film are smart and deadly, with some of their male victims deserving what they get. These ladies are stylish, sexy, busty and witty, their outfits a must for fans of retro clothing. It's like a time capsule back to Carnaby Street in London with all the op-art designs and mixtures of every color known to the human eye.

Janice Rule is involved in trying to discover who hijacked the space ship she was piloting, and fools Martin by getting him involved by claiming through amnesia to be his wife. The presence of Senta Berger as the deadly Greek agent is interesting because she is on their side, yet not afraid of using spider woman like webs to accomplish her goals.

James Gregory returns as Helm's boss, and Albert Salmi is the buffoolish bad guy, using some weird science fiction stuff to hijack the spaceship from his hideout, and hiding his plans through his identity as a Mexican beer company owner which adds some fun costumes through the commercials he makes. Kurt Kasznar is amusing as well in an eccentric supporting part. Fun sets and over-the-top humor adds to the mood, and while the film has many dated ideals isn't nearly as offensive as some would make it out to be.
