Yes, there is very little money in the film, but the story is coherent, the acting good and keeping in mind it is a thirteen year old movie the Visual effects still hold up.
Is it perfect? Of course not, as it was probably made for a few thousand pounds.
But, it did manage to get and keep my attention far better than some multimillion tv shows or films.
The locations are grim and some of the events will feel very real for those who lived through the covid years.
Makes me want to see more recent work from that director to see how he progressed
I don't get the hate some micro budget films get.
