I understand that this movie is based on Marco Kroon his own story and if these are the events that he encountered during his life he was mistreated by Dutch public opinion. It is an inspiration to see that in spite of this, he never stopped believing in what was right and did this with some bold decision making. The fact that he is just a human being like the rest of us only deepens my respect. The question whether the facts of the movie are accurate are less important to me especcially if you see the budget. In my opinion questioning the line on non intervention when someone offers you a child for relief puts you on the right side of morality. It emphasizes that standing up for what is right doesn't dismiss you from continuously questioning your own decisions but the mere fact that you are willing to make these decisions for us while putting your life at risk for our freedom deserves the highest amount of gratitude.
