If you are looking for a TV series about a washed up, crass, unfunny comedian who thinks he's super funny playing the role of a washed up, crass, unfunny comedian who thinks he's super funny, then this is the show for you!!
I waded through both seasons and think I chuckled about 4 times. In fairness, one of those times was actually for something Jim did, but the rest were for DJ Qualls. I was a bit surprised to see an appearance by Eddie Ifft, then realised that it was prior to the well known falling about between Jim and Eddie.
I did like DJ Qualls in this and I think that's why I persevered with it. It's also the reason for a higher score than I wanted to give.
I think the show could have been better if perhaps there was a better comedian playing the title role. I did like Jim as a comedian a long time ago, but since then he's lost the plot.
Australia has a lot to be embarrassed about: The Stolen Generation, the 1981 underarm bowling incident, Lidia Thorpe, the recent Voice Referendum, quite a few of our Prime Ministers including the current one (Albo).......and.....Jim Jefferies.
I trust that those wanting to visit Australia don't use Jim as the benchmark for what typical Aussies are like - we aren't! :)
