(1953) Dream Wife
COMEDY
Co-produced (uncredited), co-written and directed by Sidney Sheldon that has, Clemson Reade (Cary Grant) feeling ignored by his busy fiance, Effie (Deborah Kerr) who works in the State Department, he decides to import another fiance, Tarji (Betta St. John) from a different country. For the intention so that Clemson be with somebody who could give him more attention than what his previous relationship, Elfie's been giving him. If this movie starred some other actors I never heard about, it would not have worked at all. Some jokes work while others fall flat and can be seen a mile away, but overall quite amusing.
