I laughed at how bad it was
17 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
There are quite a few clichés in this Scream-like movie, nothing really new. And so many silly moves... we anticipate almost everything that's going to happen because it's no longer suggested but established: close-up on the bread knife, close-up on the deer's horns, back door left open without being locked...

And the COVID test scene is ridiculous, just to justify the premise and the film's title?

Also, can ask ourselves if the characters have never seen a horror movie in their characters lives ? (the guy not really dead, not hiding inside "upstairs", not skirting a house's roof while passing a window, not hiding in woods, etc..).

If Miri had died first, we would have had all the genre clichés covered.

I laughed during this film, but mainly because it was so bad (And also too predictable). I didn't expect to watch a comedy, but rather a slasher.

I was going to give it 3 stars, but I gave it 4, just for the slasher scenes, which are well executed, unlike the plot

I'll probably have forgotten this film by tomorrow, and it won't be a big deal.
