With a splendid opening scene that perfectly showcases its premise, this black comedy unfortunately falls short of being truly amazing. Mostly because the plot just settles into the pattern of Cura inferring something as a sign for his bizarre conviction and following it, then the violence ensues as he further spirals into self-fulfilling, snowballing madness. It's fun the first couple of times, but this is all there is to the story and, really, the characters. They are very readily convinced, which is of course the whole point of the humor, as Cura's madness is indeed infectious, but as all three of them are on board to just randomly search through Madrid, and all doubt just disappears; they stop being interesting.
