Wes Anderson seems to have given up on making films and is now making the most wooden and awkwardly narrated audiobooks you've ever heard whilst actors stand in place on a theatre set and uncomfortably stare straight at you, it's really cringy and off putting, I really don't need to have Richard Ayoade staring straight at me not blinking whilst he's narrating everything in a droning monotone. Also you now have to imagine things because it wouldn't be pretentious enough to actually show what's happening visually. I used to love Wes Anderson films but recently he seems to have gone so far up his own a*se I just can't get behind any of this new cr*p.
