Great movie, but I have an issue with music

The composer Georges Delerue died in 1992, composed music for Platoon, released in 1986. And here we have the same piece when Richard is taken for the execution?

The film benefits from its strong performances, particularly Stephen Rea's portrayal of Bruno Richard Hauptmann. Rea's haunting and nuanced performance adds depth and complexity to the character, making him simultaneously sympathetic and mysterious. His portrayal captures the tension and emotional toll that the case had on both the accused and the Lindbergh family.

Director Mark Rydell masterfully creates a noir-like atmosphere throughout the film, using shadowy visuals and a moody score by Laurence Rosenthal to heighten the sense of intrigue and suspense. The attention to period detail also adds authenticity to the story, immersing viewers in the time period and setting of the Lindbergh era.

"The Crime of the Century" expertly weaves together the various elements of the case, including the investigation, media frenzy, and trial, providing a comprehensive and thought-provoking perspective on one of the most notorious crimes of the twentieth century. The pacing is well-measured, ensuring that the story never drags and maintaining audience interest from beginning to end.
