The first two episodes have been really solid so far, i think setting it in a world where the war never happened was a really creative idea! The series is also (generally) in line with the rest of the franchise. Now the reason i say generally is because the second episode has fin say stuff like "bust your balls" and some gorey deaths which doesn't really fit and feels a bit forced honestly. But besides that it's been fantastic! The rest is extremely fateful to the original. Writing, story, and character wise. As well as all the the voice actors reprising their roles
Also the relatable aspects are really well done, in both episodes. The fact all of these factors are perfect is extremely well rare in shows (voice acting story characters) all that, basically to put it short. It's Steven universe future done right!
