It was pretty good for a kids horror and, it has the same kind of tone/vibes as "Are You Affaid of the Dark" and "Goosebumps" from the 90s. Which did at times get a bit out there with concepts like aliens. If you were a fan of those, this might be for you.
It started off stronger than it finished, with a very creepy tone; but the horror did ease off, and it got that little bit more goofy. Still enjoyable, and fun though. The acting was good, the special effects weren't great.
I also didn't think the light weakness made sense with the smaller weaker lights. Considering what other light sources could be about. So it felt like a bit of a plot hole there.
