All of the kids and most of the adult actors were really impressive with their performances. I didn't notice anybody being "wooden" and no over-acting, either. Those kid actors can grow up and take their place in future projects with confidence now. And the overall direction/production of the series was very good, too. Caves and water challenges were handled well.
I like how they were able to hilite the lush scenery of Thailand, too. It would be too humid for me to live there but it does look beautiful.
It's a story that Thailand can be very proud of, and the movie is a very good and respectful representation of the events surrounding it (with some dramatic embellishments, sure)
