Review of Bull

Bull (2021)
6/10
Good energy but the plot has big logical gaps

Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed watching it, the pace of the action, the main character, the ending - they were all a treat!

What I really can't get over is how a mad violent gangster is such a docile and subservient father or husband? And what about his father in law who is a ruthless racketeer, that can't finish his own dirty work but, but that the police are afraid of (this was an extra bit that shouldn't have made the final cut), has a day job as a low skilled laborer - how can he run a crew that follows his orders no matter what when he can't run a bath himself: his daughter on skag, his grandson under a bridge, but he can only terrorize octogenarians meticulously, and flip sausages on a barbecue?

I understand the moral aspect of the story - kids don't do horse and don't get involved in organized crime activities, but I think the story could've been more tight as I know there is potential given the other elements of the film.

Excellent screenplay, appalling plot.
