Barry had me on the fence the entire series and they ultimately dropped the ball at the end. The final season felt like it was meant to be 2 seasons but HBO was becoming MAX and just wanted to end it or something. It came to an okay conclusion, but it sprinted to that finish line. The 30 minute episodes are great at first, but by the last season they just leave you unfulfilled. The dry humor was the saving grave of the show, and often clever twists and turns. There's a major twist at the end of the series that appeared to have been set up the entire time only for it to be glossed over. Great performances, okay series.
