Loved this show it used to be so action packed and then it started going down this whole woke path forgetting why people watched it, now its the same old stuff with a bunch of cops with god mode who always survive everything making the show completely predictable.
How many times have they been shot now? Kim survived being shot twice once by a shotgun close range which was a miracle but okay but then again two times in the gut and left for hours only to magically make it....now Adam has been shot and they've done a cliff-hanger like omg will he make it?? Of course he will.
They need more characters but are scared to kill them off which is blatantly obvious...all we have is Torres who everyone finds hard to like as 90% of his show time its him trying to be Voight.
Show has been going on for 9 years now, almost exactly the same cast, Voight is still a SGT who they bring back as this cop who will do whatever it takes then they revert him back to a good cop when nobody watches this show for good policing or realism as 90% of what they do is wrong anyway, current direction of the show is dying and they had a chance to revive it with this "storm" or end of days plot but ruined it all with a single episode making all the episodes of Adam undercover absolutely pointless really.
Show needs new writers and can't be scared to kill them off...i love the current cast but when all of them get kidnapped and shot 24.7 and always make it through you just start asking yourself is this a cop show or a marvel movie as they all can't seem to die or have such good detective skills it makes it feel like Chicago only needs Voights unit and the other police units don't even seem to do anything but be bossed around by a SGT.
They need promotions, new cast, complete revive by switching it up so new locations and new story lines like the old days, corruption theme should come back or Voights old says as sadly this woke policing plot and the same old of turning up, shooting someone, case closed ain't doing it anymore its getting boring! Oh and the constant pointless shootings of characters that all survive is boring now too.
