Of course I opted to sit down and check out the 2023 animated show "Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures", despite the fact of not having any expectations to it at all. I figured that this was something aimed at an audience way too young, but with it being "Star Wars", of course I had to check it out.
And let's just for the record state that "Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures" is for a very young audience indeed. And thus I have to say that I found it to be well beyond my interest, even with it being a "Star Wars" product. This 2023 animated show was even way more aimed at children than the 1985 "Ewoks" animated show was.
It should be noted that for a child audience, then "Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures" is a good way to introduce the children to the "Star Wars" franchise and universe. And I am very sure that the children will find this 2023 animated show to be entertaining and exciting.
The animation and CGI in "Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures" was fair enough. Again, aimed at a very young audience, and thus I found it to be a bit too cartoony.
This is not an animated series that I will be frequenting. Sitting through the first episode was more than enough for me. And even my 13 year old son didn't find much enjoyment in "Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures".
