It should have been a Netflix series and not a two part movie. The story is heavily rushed. Sub plots have no development. Dialogs are almost like narration. Better to have given voice over/naa ration directly. Most characters except Aditya Karikaalan and Nandini fail to establish an emotional connect with the audience. If taken as a Netflix series, each subplot would have got enough screen space and the audience would not have to keep wondering who are the random main characters walking around on the screen. AR Rahman is still a class act and no questions about that. Making movies from novels is a bad idea. Please consider make it a Series.
