First of all, I'm 38 yo, my first game was an Atari, played MK and Street Fighter on arcade back in the days. Had Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, PS1, 2, 3 and now 4. So you can have an idea how I love video games.
Just started to play this game now in 2023 (I know it's a shame) and I can assure you it is one of the best games out there is on my top 3 beside GOW and Assassins Creed Valhalla.
Aloy is amazing, she is charismatic funny brave and determined. The sci-fi/primitive world is just unreal. Smalls and huge animal/dinosaur machines. Great story and good side quests, I'm the kind who likes to get the game done 100%.
The combat and mechanics with the stunning graphics is just breathtaking. Make sure to learn to understand the animals and use every weapon.
I'm playing it on very hard and can't wait to finish and start a New Game+ and as soon as I get my PS5 and a 4K TV I'll play the Horizon Forbidden West and enjoy everything that the game and the console can give.
If now in 2023 you haven't played it yet, stop everything and go do it you won't regret.
