As someone who not only loves this decade, but also grew up during this time, I am disappointed! I could not make it past the first 25 minutes of this!! It talks about different things in the decade before settling in on Ronald! It lets his lie speech play & does not mention how government grew under his two terms!! It also doesn't mention during this time on how Ronnie boy almost started nuclear war because he would not listen! He really pissed off the USSR during talks his first term!! It also doesn't mention his failed Star Wars project!! Also didn't ment how at the end of his presidency, the deficit was higher than when he took over for Carter!!
After it does Ronnie, it goes straight into IBM computers! It failed to mention the cost of one & how only a few had computers back then!! The narrator also lied about the average cost of gas in 1980!! Watch the show Chips season 3, later half of season & season 4! These seasons had been filmed between 1979 & 1981!! In these episodes, you will see gas prices on signs as they ride through LA saying $.79-$.89!! It wasn't until 84/85 that my parents were talking about gas hitting a dollar a gallon!! I remember very well because I thought a dollar was bad for gas!!
