Complete trite rubbish. The girl who plays Emma looks and acts about 13 so her story is odd. Every word out of her mouth seems insincere. The actor who plays Ben is horribly wooden. It's very hard to care about any of the characters.
Even Julie Hesmondhalgh, who is usually brilliant, looks like she can't really be bothered.
Watching Emma get married to a bloke who looked old enough to be her dad was slightly uncomfortable.
It was one of those shows where you think it might improve but it doesn't. I only watched all of the episodes under the "I've started so I'll finish" principle.
Really, don't waste your time.
