Space horror movies: the vampires are suitably clueless about Earth cultures and get into all sorts of unintentionally humorous situations, the movie contains a lot of what is qualified as "fanservice" nudity, maybe in an attempt to cash in on the simultaneous prudishness and lewdity of those times. Definitely worth a watch just once, and indeed as other say - in the right frame of mind, as the vampire's vampirism and way of acting is rather logical and self-consistent, but only if you get past the beginning of the movie. Acting's not bad, but has this 1980ies action/horror protagonist cluelessness all over the place - sometimes the vampire's action are so blatant that mind control or no, the first thing you'd do is run away or call the police on his space ass!
