The most notorious action packed thriller from France that you will be able to see in your life, more than any Jean Paul Belmondo's other movie such as LE CASSE, LE PROFESSIONNEL, or whatever you wish. But this is not my personal favorite, because the topic is too predictable for me, despite the two headed narrative line. The cops track down two villains here, two different villains with absolutely no links between the two of them. That's very unusual but sufficient to deliver so many action, breath taking, jaw dropping scenes, all shot in Paris: roofs, subway...I don't even speak of the sharp dialogues. And the Ennio Morricone's unforgettable score. A milestone in the French movie industry, the best action thriller from France and for eternity.
