Don't Get The Hate
16 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this in Cinemas 10 years ago & to be fair haven't seen it again since. That's not to say that I found the film bad, but just not as interesting as I'd hoped, but, it wasn't & isn't as bad as being made out.

The film sees Keith Lemon (AKA Lee Francis) who invents a phone with a light up lemon on it where he becomes stinking rich. He then moves to Hollywood, dates Kelly Brooke & lives a Celebrity Lifestyle.

I found the film to be alright. It's not amazing & to be fair doesn't stand out too much in my mind. It has it's funny moments & is watchable for what it is. Yeah, granted I didn't watch it since its release back in 2012, but, that's not to say I wouldn't watch it again. Also, to say this is the worst film of 2012 & one of the worst is pretty harsh considering today's climate of films especially, at least this film didn't have that rubbish inserted otherwise I would've agreed with the critics. But, here I don't & actually liked the film.

There's some weird & funny gags & some eye candy with Kelly Brooke, the story while thin is good enough for this 80 minute feature film & will amuse you. The film yeah, could've been better, but you can say that about almost any film especially today given what I said before.

Overall, it's not nearly or half as bad as made out. I suggest you watch this film & give it a go. You'll probably like it, you may hate it as much as that lot did, but get you own view & watch it for yourself. It's not bad, it has some funny gags, action & eye candy. Ignore the critics, switch off & enjoy this little comedy.

6/10.
