The Jack McCall part played by David Arquette was never ending and was rather ridiculous. The alleged notorious killers failed to execute Wild Bill and collect their money as it was within easy reach. The rest of the movie was so good I have watched it a few times. I found the acting to be very good, and the sets very well done, although the lead character was at times so over the top as to have met with a fatal blow at nearly every turn had this been depicted as such.
There were several instances of ridiculous behavior, including parts played by James Gammon & John Hurt, while being far fetched, they actually contributed nicely to the overall entertainment experience of the picture.
I am a fan of Jeff Bridges works, and I think this contributes to his portfolio with honors.
