Outdated and somewhat inconsistent movie with Vince Ryker (Vince Edwards) driving away with another former convict carrying with them a small tightly sealed canister. We find out later that they were escaped convicts who assumed that the canister was filled with heroin but it is actually filled with radioactive material that has the capability to even infect anyone who touches it. And by the time Vince makes it to the city, he calls up former colleagues to either help him or to prevent his capture with predictable results.
Although the point was made some of the inconsistencies was the way police or law enforcement attempt to capture Vince would not have happened in real life like if he was an escaped convict how come there was no picture or photo op for the police so that they know who they are looking for, how come the news don't publicize what he's supposed to look like if he is on the run. The movie somewhat has elements of 1960 "Breathless" and 1955"Kiss Me Deadly." just because the canister itself is sought after.
