Seemed like it might have promise, like other sporting films...The Replacements, We Are Marshall, Friday Night Lights... but in reality it was just another goody goody college film focused on too much romance and drinking and not much rowing. Too many different storylines (dedicated boyfriend & girlfriend, assumed cheating girlfriend with pushy team mate, arrogant controlling father, love interest with accent, heartbroken sport dude with trauma, wounded but strong coach, in fighting within the team) omg far too much and just ruined the film all together. I tapped out after the first 25 min. Will never watch again.
