The brains at ID Discovery (I always here that word's in my head being said as a whisper) - ever-needing MORE stuff to fill the airtime, but with only a limited pot to pull the proverbial 'poop' from (did you ever notice all - ALL stories in ALL these true crime shows - yeah, even The First 48 - all get they're material from only a few locations? You're not going to see NYPD become a regular part of the in-house police shows, as it were. They do throw in an occasional story - usually if it's one of the few which actually was nationally or internationally known, but otherwise it's Appalachian, Bible belt and the'waving wheat' area off the Midwest which are the big suppliers), theID people just recycle.
Here, the crime's almost always at the end. The majority of the airtime filled with filler.
Just an hour ago, I watched one. Endless video of holiday gatherings. Endless video Endless women in terrible outfits with the hair to match.
Personally, when I hear a southern twang, it's nails in a blackboard to me.
Audio-wise,, it's all, 'were a god-fearing folk. I met him/her at Jesus camp. We had nothing to do, so we went to church'.

Something to really think about; is if any person who's either a supporter of that bond lunatic who was in the executive office beginning in 2017-2021, as well as anyone who actually believes the 'liberals' control the media to WATCH any of this pablum, and afterwards be asked; I'd everyone your just saw was a so-called god-fearing xtian, why, then is it THIS the MAIN source of stories - in particular, the people in the stories.
I'm not going to go on and dredge up how the stuff which goes on in these so-called GFC-areas (as in god-fearing ..) is BY FAR- MORE f'ed up than ANY East/West coast major city.
