NOSTALGIC GHOST STORY MOVIE
21 August 2022
Ruth Bennet (Barbara Stanwick) arrives with her daughter (Ktty Winn) at an old house that she has inherited. Once installed there, she befriends a kind neighbor and one of her best students. One night during a meeting they are visited by a medium and decide to hold a seance, waking up the ghosts that have been trapped in the house for years. Strange manifestations begin to occur, objects that fall, doors that open by themselves and night voices, which causes the four protagonists to prepare to carry out an investigation to solve the mystery. This film is a clear example of how, in the 70s, with a low budget but with ingenuity, creativity, wind effects, good incidental music and an intelligent script, an excellent ghost film could be made. An extremely effective classic telefilm where, in addition to the protagonists, Michael Anderson Jr. And Richard Eggan stand out.
