This episode wasn't terrible. It had some humorous moments. It was actually better than I expected, considering I spent half the episode with high blood pressure from hearing Chen say "vahs" over and over. It's vase. Like case.
Season 4 overall is ten times better than the train wreck that was season 3, but that isn't saying much. I am still finding The Rookie quite entertaining overall and I'm in it for the long haul.
- I am very happy for Harper because I think she is a kick-ass character, but her and James are just a weird couple to me. It's hard for me to remember they're in a relationship, much less married when I haven't seen them kiss a single time on the lips. All the hugs and the cheek kissing just makes them feel like a platonic couple. Either way, I do like each of them individually so why not together?
- Nolan and Bailey. Also love them both, though for some reason I still think of Jenna Dewan being in her 20s, not my age. They're cute together and I hope it lasts.
- I love Silas and wish he would make an appearance in more episodes. I loved the entire storyline of the skit they were filming, and I think Sargent Grey stood out the most. He has great comedic timing!
- Greg Grunberg is fantastic in everything he's in. He's every bit as charming as Nathan Fillion so seeing both of them together onscreen was a delight, even if their story was quite boring.
- It's amazing how far Tim has come in my eyes. I hated him at first but he is now easily my favorite character. Although I do find Chen to be a bit bland at times, I cannot wait for the inevitable moment where they finally see each other romantically. They trigger my inner teenager.
