Ok it's not the most original horror movie, but they're are a couple scene's that definitely make it worthwhile. The pool scene in particular is honestly one of my favorites I've seen in horror. The truck scene is also good. The rest I would say average, but with an upbeat 80s pop soundtrack it gives the movie style.
It would feel very much like it was treading old ground without the soundtrack with the original, and arguably not as well delivered.
Even without the positives mentioned above I would still say overall its harmless fun and definitely not as bad as some of the reviews on here.
