Sorry not sorry for the pun. And no I would not compare this to the Sixth Sense - neither should you. You would not do yourself or the movie any favors if you did. This is low budget and has an adult person in the centre. At the story is different and all that.
It has some really nice moments, especially one at night with a crawling ... well creature. Quite spine chilling to say the least - you'll understand when you see it. For a low budget movie it does work fine - but you still have to suspend your disbelief and really cut this as much slack as possible. And then overlook some flaws - some horror movie love will go a long way too. Seeing is believing they say - in this case and pun aside, you may have to rely on your hearing ...
