Started watching it with zero expectations as I thought the series would be very pretentious and would try to copy the original Modern Love, in turn becoming very 'non-Indian'. But boy did the series exceed my expectations and not just exceeded, but exceeded by a lot. The topics around which each episode revolved were handled with such charm that it didn't feel boring even for a single moment
Having never lived in Mumbai myself, I could still feel the Mumbainess in each episode. My favorites were Raat Rani, Mumbai Dragon, I Love Thane, and Cutting Chai.
Everyone acted amazingly well given that such seasoned actors were a part of this project. Special mention to Ranveer Brar who acted beautifully and might I say outshined Pratik Gandhi. Pratik no doubt is a phenomenal actor but I think his acting in the series felt a bit restrained. I could see through the screen that he was uncomfortable doing some scenes.
