Like Austin Powers, there are many jokes that are hilarious. However, just like those movies, there are many jokes that don"t work, characters that are too silly, and too much slapstick and juvenile humor. But when it works, it is a laugh out loud good time. This outweighs any shortcomings. Too much exposition in the early episodes, but it steadily builds and hits its stride in episode 4. The Jeremey Irons bits in each episode are worth your time alone.
