It certainly has it's moment, but they are far and few between. Set in the usual cosy English village which everyone must surely know by now, the first half of the movie is not bad at all. Karloff is definitely the star of the show with Nick Adams and Suzan Farmer in the other lead roles, but the story itself is in the end not very exciting and though it is filmed very well the film peters out in the end. Should've been better.
