I know. It's obvious that Clint here goofs around with his macho image. So much, it sounds like he woke from the grave each time he opens his mouth for his best impression of R. Lee Ermey (not even close, Clint). He is an old, gruffy marine who's last chance is taking on the recon squad, aka the worst troop you can imagine, and make MEN out of bafoons. For my part, Heartbreak is so metamacho it's borderline comedy. We see once hot shot Mario Van Peebles as the most irritating recruit on the planet, so Clint puts him in his place by ripping his ring right of his air. It's kind of Police Academy with gravel, and not ment to take seriously. I've always had a soft spot for it.
