Emotional or exploitative?
26 February 2022
The incredible hard work of the numerous passionate people who rarely get any recognition from the extras and makeup artists to location managers and line producers, this is all about them. It's their hard-work that makes the shortcomings of the 8th season even more frustrating now. A lot of the experiences shared through this documentary makes me wonder why do so many people have to put their life so much into it, into making something that is not actually fully realised, unlike the initial seasons. Isn't this the ultimate exploitation of people? They have given ample reason from the real-life hardships to the ending of the show that even with its fault won't stop you from loving it all together with the moments that could make you tear up.
