This movie is a great exaggeration of the criminal world in the Soviet Union. It has an extreme dark humour. Unfortunately also has some very racist jokes, but if you can look past that, you will see how it plays perfectly into the aura of the film and humour. I would highly suggest this movie to most, may be tough to enjoy if you have no experience or knowledge with Russian culture.
