John Wood (*cough Rambo wannabe) tries its best to emulate the original of this genre. However, it does not reach that milestone due to the poor acting, one dimensional characters, wooden actors whereby the trees seem more alive than the actors therein, the cheap special effects, etc.. it is just a farce of a film. Yes, it is one of those films that is so bad that it is unintentionally funny af. Or is it that self aware that the writers are poking fun at the viewer!
Furthermore, it uses a piece of musical that people from the UK associates with a theme/amusement park ride. If I were a cartoon character, my eyes would revert inwards at a 180 degree angle... Aka. I cannot believe what I'm seeing and hearing. It made me chuckle and shake my head in disbelief!
