Major Frank Cross (Lundgren) is assigned to carry the Presidents black case that contains codes for nuclear weapons but after an attack at a hotel leaves Frank Cross with the case but now it's in the hands of terrorists. That's the basis of the simple action plot. Movie legend & one of my all-time favorite actors ROY SCHEIDER (Jaws, Jaws 2, Blue Thunder) is here in a small but important role as the President & gives a fine little performance, hey Scheider is always good no matter the movie or it's budget & he's good here.
Dolph Lundgren is an old school action star i grew up watching as i did many from that particular time of the 80's & 90's with action genre legends such as Van Damme & Schwarzenegger & Stallone & Seagal for example. Dolph was always great too, especially in Universal Soldier, The Punisher & Masters Of The Universe & he's damn good here too. Dolph is having fun in this low-budget Direct-to-video B-movie & it shows. These are the types of flicks that filled the shelves of the Blockbuster video stores back in the 90's & i loved that & miss those days so much. There's a sense of Nostalgia with these cheap 90's action thriller's & that's why i enjoy them. There a good action sequence with cars on building rooftops chasing each other & smashing onto other rooftops.
Dolph is good in his action hero role & the film is abit like Die Hard at times & has plenty of action & is a fun watch. Nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible, a fun Action film.
