One of those 1990s 'film noir' style thrillers that feel deliberately old-fashioned. Not bad in terms of style, but the basic plot - a whodunit based around the opening murder of a stripper - is simplistic and the actors don't have a lot to work with; I also felt that the dialogue was pretty dull here. Too much of a lite BASIC INSTINCT wannabe at times and Baldwin doesn't make an impact.
