I love Nana Visitor, she was wonderful in Deep Space 9 and. Dark Angel and she did not disappoint. Here as the unhinged grandma, she was great. Visitor played the grief stricken and completely crazy mother-in-law driven to extremes by the loss of her own daughter years before.
The movie is definitely not rocket science and doesn't pretend to be. All the actors are well cast and amazingly, the child actors are not annoying. This is the kind of movie that's a guilty pleasure. Make a big bowl of popcorn, settle back and enjoy.
