So, this was obviously a low budget film. The cast is all unknowns, and the special effects are just a bit cheesy, but the novel story line and yeoman acting really made it work. To be fair, they probably didn't spend that much on the effects, and they probably got more than their money's worth.
The fact that they could pull off translating such a far out plot line into a cohesive movie really says a lot about the imagination and perseverance of its creators. I expect many of them will have good futures in the business and their careers will be noteworthy.
