The movie had some great parts. How they acted around the baby and grew to love it and call themselves mom and dad, taking initiative to take proper care of the baby, and everything else that had nothing to do with the baby was fine.
It's the parts that the baby was in danger that really irked me.
I know the baby wasn't actually in danger, but watching this over and over with different scenarios of the baby being put in harms way, not to mention the whole freezer room thing which was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE along with the at LEAST 10 minute scene of trying to get the baby to come back...it was horrifying, worse than horrifying.
Laying here with my son who's around the same age and sleeping watching these things made my stomach churn.
I balled my eyes out. And I really just wanted to put this here before any other parents watch it so they know it will have some nightmare scenarios with an infant child.
Otherwise like I said, funny movie and some awesome fight scenes along with it. Just REALLY can not get past the parts I mentioned about the baby.
Now I am going to watch something else and snuggle my son before I go to bed in hopes I don't have night terrors 😅
