Beautifully, whimsically, tragically, gloriously done. I don't know that my words would be enough to describe such a magnificent film in all its complexity. For those who are lovers of music, lovers of nature, and lovers of atmosphere, it ticks all the boxes. I love when films are complex enough that they are not predictable, yet not impossible to follow, Sway Lake is a perfect balance in my humble opinion of the two ends of that spectrum. Ollie and Nikolai are a lovable, mischievous duo that will make you relive great times with your friends or even want to join in on their antics. While it shows that times on the lake aren't all sunshine and sparkles, the real-ness of this film touches your heart and is definitely worth a watch as it must be appreciated for the beauty it is!
