I mean this was supposed to be released for theatres.

So in recent times where movies are heading over to the OTT due to the pandemic I'm seeing statements like these. So I got to a conclusion on this matter which is - when people say they really liked the movie and it would've been great to see this type of flick in theatres the movie is really good in & out (in being the OTT and out being the theatres) it will be a good film wherever or whenever it's watched (e.g soorarai pottru). Now there's second type where we directly say what I said in the beginning (this being released for theatres) without really talking about the film is it good or bad etc.

JT comes in the second slot for me. It's more like a "fan's" stuff. There are few things I liked which are generic but liked them. That number plate showing "WHITE POWER" and its ironical ending. London, Madurai, cinematography, MUSIC, Dhanush, oh! Also those fights it felt somewhat realistic so cheers for that (really bored of anti-gravity fights). After "the family man's" half baked potrayal of a serious issue this movie showed it what they're really going through (though it's really little of what they've shown.. there's more to it which I don't think we have the hearts to see). I know it's different issue in these both cases but show some respect is all which is clearly shown in the film.

Coming to what I didn't like. The whole film is lacking somewhere. It doesn't have depth like the director's previous movies (no, not petta. Remove that from his filmography). The whole first hour is the same old "small town thug-going big city" gangster type except here it's country not a city and there's little hero worshipping too but that can be ignored. Also those bombs seemed way too artificial ugh!. I enjoyed petta while watching it on-screen. I enjoyed master while watching it on-screen but I couldn't enjoy, like really enjoy this movie on-computer-screen.
