Nub noir: James Caan, still laps away from his game changer, Jonathan E (Rollerball) (75), co-stars as a brain injured, ex-gridiron star who's given a paltry payout by his school, then wanders into the path of wife on the run, Knight, both intersecting down the road with creepy cop Duvall (2.5/4). A curious but weird, tense trip, part of a trend in deconstruction where the protagonist is written only to be crushed.
