I started watching 'Police Story' when it first aired and I still love watching it today. The '70s were 'my decade' and 'Police Story' had it down pat. A t.v. Series created by a real big city police officer, and it was hard hitting and gritty and definitely the most realistic cop show ever. The guest stars were a 'who's who' of Hollywood celebs, and that made it even more interesting from week to week. Just because someone was a star didn't mean that they couldn't get knocked off in any episode! With other police or detective shows you knew nothing was going to happen to the main character because he had to be back next week. LOL! And he always looked good and usually got the girl and all the credit because he was the hero. In 'Police Story' things were so much more like real life and bad things CAN happen to good people. Just a great television series and way ahead of its' time.
