The movie seamlessly blends the notion that the "sexbot" a.i. is or maybe isn't conscious, or on the verge of becoming that. It also deals in abuse of the A.I. - in short; a classical subject. It then turns into a mystery/thriller that has an original plot twist (more or less). Yes, there are many clichés and the scenografy could have done alot better (though probably good enough on the budget), the actors sort of delivered but the overall feeling of the movie derailed a little due to sci-fi feeling not really being there.
Pro's Acting Initial build-up Mystery momentum
Con's Clichés Unoriginal parts scongray and costume in what should be sci-fi'esque parts (use minimalism as is the common go to to get that feeling, even if it isn't logical the design will change that much).
End notes: I would be shocked if they didn't find a role for Dean Cain in the next wonderwoman, he shows here as in a couple of other movies that he can actually deliver well enough for a none lead part in a major movie.
