I had already read both of Mark Billingham's source novels, but this strange TV adaptation didn't really hold together. MyAnna Buring was a strange casting choice as she played it like she was made of ice. Matt King was good as Dr Phil Hendricks though. The heavily pregnant angle was uncomfortable to watch.
